2024 Volunteer Trainings: April 4, June 20 & September 5 from 3-5:30pm
Individual Opportunities
Volunteers help with readying the horses, tack, equipment, and work in the arena assisting participants with lessons. Volunteers also help with planning and implementing events. Volunteers make up our Board of Directors who oversee the operation, fundraising, management, and direction of the center. Volunteering is more than a regular donation of time and service. It involves becoming part of a larger community.
*You must attend a volunteer training prior to volunteering in the program*
Group Opportunities
Group volunteer activities are a rewarding way to support NWTRC! These can include landscape maintenance, painting, building, event support, and raising outside funds with activities or events.
Requirements
1) Be 14 years old and have current health insurance.
2) Email Julia Bozzo (julia@nwtrc.org) to discuss volunteer opportunities.
3) Attend volunteer training.
