NWTRC serves people of all ages with physical, cognitive, behavioral, emotional and sensory disabilities.
Services go beyond horseback riding to include horsemanship activities, grooming, tacking and stable management. Each lesson is designed for the individual's goals and abilities, with the objective of optimizing health, independence and well-being.
Scholarships help to offset the cost of lessons to individual participants.

Our horses are the heart, soul and literal backbone of our program!
Your contribution helps to cover the multitude of expenses associated with upkeep, feed, supplements, training, vet and hoof care.
In return, our horses provide the highest quality performance for our participants. A Win-Win!

Sponsors give our events an extra boost, which in turn allows our program to give a ‘Leg Up’ to children and adults with disabilities in Whatcom and Skagit counties.
Event sponsors receive marketing and promotion in-person, print, on our website and social media pages.
