Hoofbeats Are Heartbeats Student Scholarship Horse Show

The NWTRC Hoofbeats Are Heartbeats Student Scholarship Horse Show is fun, educational, and truly inspirational. The show allows our riders to demonstrate their improvements and abilities to family and friends. In addition, the show generates funds to help pay scholarships for those of our riders who can not afford the full cost. All money raised goes to fund scholarships for our less fortunate riders, giving everyone the opportunity to ride. T-shirts, prizes, and a BBQ for our riders and guests all add to the festivity of the day.

Summer ShowSummer Show

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2010 Hoofbeats Are Heartbeats Student Scholarship Horse Show a rousing success! We all enjoyed the picture perfect day for a horse show, our students rode super well and received beautiful ribbons, in addition to our new green t-shirts. Volunteers were recognized for their generous contribution to the riding program and our horses did their very best and looked beautiful! The bake sale and flower box raffle added an extra touch to the festivities - a thank you to all who donated and purchased our items!

Denim to Diamonds Dinner and Auction

The 2010 Denim to Diamonds Dinner and Auction will be on November 6 at 6:00 pm at the Bellingham Elks Club.

The annual Denim to Diamonds Dinner and Auction is the biggest fundraising event for our program that operates with an all volunteer staff and careful stretching of each dollar. In addition to raising necessary funds, the event provides a wonderful culmination of the year’s efforts and accomplishments in a festive, joyful atmosphere. A delicious buffet precedes the live and silent auctions (offering a large variety of enticing prizes). We even have a fabulous dessert auction! It’s a perfect way to celebrate a great year of riding and enter the holiday season. All the money raised directly supports the program and its horses, thus allowing people with disabilities the opportunity to ride at an affordable cost.

For information email Pamela Cady at or phone 360-306-8242.
