You can become a part of our exciting, valuable work! Supporting our program will enable people with disabilities to enjoy the monumental benefits they receive from riding, and at a cost they can afford! The NorthWest Therapeutic Riding Center needs funds, volunteers, and in-kind gifts. You will be helping to provide lessons, construction projects, special events, and other activities.

The NWTRC is a nonprofit, NARHA affiliated riding program, and is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax deductible. The NorthWest Therapeutic Riding Center operates solely on funds from fundraising events, private and corporate donations, and a minimal tuition from its clients. The NWTRC does not receive any government grants or insurance payments.

The NWTRC has successfully operated outdoors since 1993 in the rainy corner of Northwest Washington. In these years of operation, NWTRC has used its limited resources to maximum capacity. We have determined the need for a covered facility to fill the ever-expanding need for this valuable service.

• $800 pays for full scholarship for rider for one session*

* Rider’s fees cover less than 22% of cost of riding.
