Terri has been volunteering at the NWTRC for several years and loves working with the riders and horses. She says that her life is enriched in such a special way as she sees the riders learning, growing, and having fun with their horses at riding lessons and how their lives are enriched through their experiences at the Riding Center. It was a natural step for her to serve on the Board of Directors. She is still a "horse crazy girl" after all these years. She has an Appaloosa mare named Katie at home and they enjoy trail riding. She is a member of the Mt. Baker Ski Patrol for over 20 years now. Having earned a master's degree in geology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, she is a science faculty member at Northwest Indian College. In her "spare" time she can be found hiking and walking with her dog, Nui.
