Danielle has been riding horses since she was 9 years old. When her mother found out about the NWTRC in 2006, Danielle didn't hesitate to get involved. She has been involved with the NWTRC for seven years, from volunteer to instructor to horse exerciser and stall cleaner extraordinaire. She has ridden many different disciplines and is always game for trying new ones with her partner in crime Zorro, a Norwegian Fjord, who was owned by NWTRC. Aside from her passion for working with horses, she also has a passion for helping people and works as a Registered Nurse at St. Joe's Hospital. Education has played a big part in Danielle's life, she has a biology degree from Western Washington University, and a nursing degree from Whatcom Community College. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Washington. If you don't find her in the barn or at the hospital she might be playing soccer, relaxing on the lake with her family, reading a good book or plotting ideas of how to acquire more animals.
